Seriously, doesn't that sound like some of the designers
you've talked to before? A little like going through a fast food joint? Get 'em in, get 'em out but wait,
don't forget those high prices. I don't think it's necessary to throw everything out and spend thousands
of dollars to get a new look when you can probably get it with what you already have. All you need is a new
set of eyes, a little imagination and somebody who doesn't mind doing the work.
That's where I come in. I can do a little bit of everything,
from painting to installing blinds, to woodworking, to upholstery, to making furniture, to sewing, to.....you get my drift.
Over the years, I've learned to do it all. Here I am in the autumn years of my life, my creative side coming out like
never before and I'm getting to share it with others. Life is good.
One of my greatest compliments came during my 2nd marriage. My
husband had owned his condo for 7 years before we married and had resisted doing anything to his "pad" for the longest
time. When I was almost finished, he told me it was the best decorated place he'd ever had. He was so glad
he closed his eyes and trusted me.I'd made it into a place that still reflected him, yet given it flair. I
rearranged, added color,lots of textures, used what he already had, added a little and Voila! A new
place. Still masculine, still his, lived in but more cosmopolitan. Did I feel good or what?
That's what I'll do for you. I love doing it, don't charge
outrageous prices, sometimes nothing at all! I've been known to barter or offer my services as a gift.
